Restore service

Do you have IBM System i (iSeries, AS/400) cartridges which contain important data, but no longer have the facilities to perform restore operations?

UKSYS.net offers a service to restore IBM System i (iSeries, AS/400) data from many cartridge formats.

Once we receive your cartridges, we will provide a list of saved objects. Using an UKSYS.net system, we can restore objects of interest, such as database files. We can then extract the database file content to PC format. After all required processes are complete, restored data shall be erased from the UKSYS.net system used to perform restore activities, and cartridges returned to the customer.

Cartridge conversion service

Using our data-centre facilities, UKSYS.net also offers the service to convert System i (iSeries, AS/400) cartridges from one format to another.

An example: Data saved to 3590 format, converted to LTO format.
